General InformationThe club has 4 courts which are available for booking from around 9am through to nearly 10pm. Courts are booked in the club house on the booking machine situated in the corridor leading to Courts 1 and 2 or can also be booked over the internet (follow the link on the right). Courts can be reserved for up to 2 weeks in advance. Courts are released after 7:00pm at the club for booking in 14 days time and released for online booking at 09:00am the following morning. Members are restricted to holding 4 unused peak-time court bookings per 14 day period. Each session lasts for 45 minutes at a peak time cost (weekday evenings) of £3.50 and an off-peak cost of £2.50. The machine automatically switches on the court lights and heating for the sessions that have been booked. Any problems with booking online, please advise Simon Townsend via email at simes.t@btinternet.com Courts are generally available all through the week apart from a few slots reserved for team matches, junior coaching (Saturday morning) and club tournaments. The courts are available for all senior members to use every Saturday evening from around 6.00pm for a Club Night session. This is a 'turn up and play' event for a cost of only £1 and is great way to play new people and attracts a regular attendance by players of all standards. iButtons for Booking MachineTo check bookings and court status, to load up credit on your account and to enable booking of squash courts on the booking machine itself, an iButton is required. These buttons are available from Simon Townsend on membership of the Club. **************Latest On-line News***************
New system to be introduced for cancellation of existing bookings It is now possible to cancel bookings already made and to re-open that court session for other members to book. If, and only if, the session is re-booked your own account will then be credited with the appropriate repayment.
Credit card bookings The committee have recommended that the booking system be enabled to allow credit card payments to individual's booking accounts and it is our intention that this will be set up later this year once the best way of achieving this has been established.
